- Awarded to incoming freshmen nominated by the principals of Bedford North Lawrence High School, Bloomfield High School, and Eastern High School.
- Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA, show evidence of leadership via participation in extracurricular activities, be of good character, and have financial need.
- Renewable for one year provided the recipient has attended school full-time (at least 12 credit hours/semester) and maintains a 3.0 GPA.

- The Marvin and Patricia Cave Scholarship
- The $2,000 scholarship is awarded to incoming undergraduate freshmen from Springs Valley High School, French Lick, Indiana who have not received the Habig award.
